Recorded 2007 . From their earliest performances, Bernie & Red always featured some Irish songs in their shows, & during the 80’s, after their great success at the “Unicorn” during the Vancouver World’s Fair, the amount of Irish material increased, so it was no surprise when they decided to present an annual “All Irish” show, each March, to celebrate St Patrick’s Day. The success of these Irish shows led to this recording, which features many of the songs included in their St Patrick’s day show. You’ll find a great collection of the serious & the comic which we’ve come to expect from Bernie & Red. Gentle ballads from Red, such as “Bunch of Thyme” & “Liverpool Lullaby” & foot stomping hand-clappers such as “Whiskey in the Jar” & “The Wild Rover” are included, as well as the self penned “Yesterday is History”, which has become a firm favourite at concerts.
