This is a new page which we hope will be updated on a fairly regular basis.

May 2008.

It's been a while, but here's the latest up date. This years winter tour went really well, with several new locations. We started out in Arizona with a New Years Eve show & dance, & then we headed for Texas where we had some great crowds & a number of sold out shows. February & March we were in Arizona enjoying great weather. Our St Patrick's Shows were a little different this year. Our friend Paddy O'Furniture was not able to join us, but we were very fortunate to get hold of a GREAT Irish dancer, Michael Patrick Gallagher. He was the lead dancer in "Riverdance" for 6 years, so you can bet he's GOOD. The first Irish show was in Yuma & the crowd there just loved his dancing. For the second show in Mesa, Michael Pat brought two of his students with him, & their dancing a beautiful costumes were a real hit. Hopefully Michael Pat will be a part of the Irish Shows in 2009. We returned to Canada in early April & the rest of the year will be spent mainly close to home.

December 2007.

Just before we head south for this winter's tour, we'd like to let you know that the new CD is now pressed & on sale. Entitled "A Touch of the Irish", it is, as we previously mentioned, a collection of most of the songs featured in the "St Patrick's day Show", plus a couple of extras including "Yesterday is History". We had a great Christmas with kids, grandkids & friends & are thoroughly looking forward to this years tour & new show, which we think is better than ever. See you on the road.

June 2007.

Keeping this page up to date is proving an almost impossible task, however ......Our winter tour continues to go from strength to strength & the itinerary for 2008 is now posted, with several new locations. As I write this, we are in the process of recording a new CD, which will feature all of the material from our annual St Patrick's Day concerts. You asked for it & so we are giving it to you!

Also included on this CD is the song that Bernie wrote, "Yesterday is History". Available later this year.

July 2004.

Our Alaska Cruise was a great success & we had fantastic weather. Taking things nice & easy for the summer, although we will be in Oregon for a couple of weeks in August, when we perform for "Country Coach", "FMCA National Rally" & "Senior Estates" in Woodburn. The schedule for Winter 2005 is now on the website. Check it out. One new addition this year, we are taking our St Patrick's Show to Texas!

August 2003.

Just put the winter schedule on the website, be sure to check it out. New CD is also now available. "Bernie & Red LIVE. Vol 2" which includes "SKI Club". This was previously available only on cassette, now is on CD with extra bonus tracks, go to the CD's & Tapes For Sale link to check it out.

April 2003.

Returned home after a great winter season with sold out shows all over the south west. The cruise to Mexico was great fun, with approx 75 of us in our group. Stopped off in Salt Lake to visit our new grandson & then headed to Alberta for 4 shows. We also ran in to snow !!!!!! In May??????   We were ready to head straight back to Mexico!

A lot of people have asked if we are going to cruise to Alaska again & we are looking into that for May of 2004.

New CD released, December 2002.

Another new CD release, entitled "Tasty Treats", don't miss it.

Upcoming Winter Season. 2003.

This winter will be the usual busy season for Bernie & Red. A lot of new venues in Texas & also in Mesa/Apache Junction. The St Patrick's Day show in Yuma is being presented on Monday, March 17th, & this year it will be at at Westwind RV. One of the main reasons for this change of location is their reserved seating policy. When you book your tickets you will see exactly where you'll be sitting. However, the capacity is not quite as big as last years theatre, so get your tickets early.

The St Patrick's Day Show is also being presented in Mesa, on Sunday, March 16th. So those of you in the Phoenix/Mesa area will get to enjoy a great night of Irish music & merriment. The show is at Towerpoint RV. And if you're near Quartzsite, the Irish Show is being presented at the Q.I.A. on Saturday March 15th.

Summer & Fall 2002.

Bernie & Red's popularity with winter RV audiences has seen their summer bookings increase, due to the demand for their show at various RV Rallies. In August they  performed at their first Holiday Rambler Rally, in Gillette, Wyoming, & from there  traveled as far as Vermont for a FMCA rally, followed by other rallies in Michigan, Illinois & North Dakota.

May 2002 Alaska Cruise.

On May 24th we departed Vancouver with a group of 130 people for our first cruise as escorts. We had a great group, half Americans & half Canadians, & we had a great trip to Alaska. We travelled on the Sea Princess & everyone agreed that service/food/itinerary & entertainment were all exceptional. The trip was SUCH a success that Sandy at P.O.S.H. Travel has already arranged another cruise for March 2003. This will be aboard the Star Princess & we will be sailing from Los Angeles to Mexico, departing on March 29th 2003.

April 2002.

Bernie & Red have just completed their Winter tour, & it was their most successful ever! Even though the numbers of Winter visitors in general, were reduced this season, the crowds at the Bernie & Red concerts were bigger than ever, culminating in their last concert of the season, St Patrick's Day in Yuma, AZ. which was attended by over 1000 people.

March 2002.

The first annual Bernie & Red St. Patrick's Day Show was held in Yuma on March 17th, & they were astounded by the response. Over 1000 people filled the Post Auditorium in Yuma & were treated to a feast of Irish entertainment. Also on the bill were Eddy Coffey, who set the tone for the evening with his accordion playing & singing & Ray Soden, who appeared twice. Firstly as "Michael Flatfeet" the hilarious Irish tap-dancer, & later in the show  re-appeared as Paddy O'Furniture, Irish comic. This event was a new departure for Bernie & Red, in as much as they produced the show themselves, & they were delighted that everything went so well. However, there is always room for improvement & plans for a new & improved St Patrick's Day 2003 are already in hand. Watch this space.
